Fly to Antsiranana (Diego Suarez) and continue by road to Joffreville, a small town at the gateway to Montagne d’Ambre National Park.

Explore this beautiful park with a local guide, discovering lush montane rainforest, waterfalls, rivers and crater lakes. Covering approximately 18,200 hectares, the park supports an impressive variety of wildlife, including several species of lemurs, chameleons, amphibians and abundant birdlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the forest before continuing to your accommodation

After breakfast, travel south towards Ankarana National Park. Weather and road conditions permitting, stop along the way to visit the striking Red Tsingy, where erosion has sculpted red laterite into delicate pinnacles and unusual formations.

Continue to Ankarana, renowned for its dramatic limestone tsingy, caves, underground rivers and distinctive wildlife. Set out on a guided hike of approximately three to four hours, exploring this fascinating karst landscape and its network of forests and caves.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during your exploration before continuing to your hotel near the national park.

After breakfast, travel towards Ankify, passing through the landscapes of northern Madagascar and the town of Ambilobe. This fertile region is known for its sugar cane, cocoa and spice plantations.

From Ankify, travel by boat across to Nosy Be, Madagascar’s best-known tropical island. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Enjoy two days at leisure on Nosy Be, with time to relax on the beach or choose from a variety of optional excursions and activities.

Take a boat trip to Nosy Komba, known for its black lemurs, traditional villages and vanilla cultivation, before continuing to Nosy Tanikely Marine Reserve. Its clear waters and colourful coral reefs make it an excellent destination for snorkelling, with abundant tropical fish and other marine life.

Alternatively, explore Lokobe Reserve on a guided rainforest walk in search of lemurs, reptiles and other wildlife, or visit Mont Passot, the highest point on Nosy Be, for panoramic views across the island, crater lakes and surrounding Indian Ocean.

Other optional activities and excursions can be arranged locally.

Today, transfer to the airport for your flight to Antananarivo.

On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for your final night in Madagascar.

Depending on the departure time of your flight you may have time to embark on a captivating morning excursion to Ambohimanga, a historical gem located just 21 kilometers north of the city.

This remarkable site holds the significance of being a King's palace and has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the rich history and cultural heritage of Ambohimanga as you wander through the palace grounds, taking in the architectural splendor and learning about the fascinating stories embedded within its walls.

Afterwards visit a market with Malagasy handicrafts and, if your flight is late in the evening, you have use of a day-use room in the hotel. Afterwards, transfer to the airport and check-in for departure for the flight home.
