Aria Amazon - 4 Day Amazon Cruise

From Iquitos to Iquitos

Tour Overview

Uncover the magic of the Peruvian Amazon on an immersive journey combining a river cruise, jungle hikes, birdwatching, wildlife encounters, and authentic cultural experiences.

Cruise along the legendary Amazon River, starting with early-morning birdwatching as the rainforest awakens. Continue by skiff into the tranquil Yanayacu Yacapana River, a tributary of the Amazon, where you’ll search for remarkable wildlife including colorful parrots, soaring hawks, playful monkeys, and elusive sloths.

Venture deep into the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve to explore one of the world’s most biodiverse ecosystems. Visit an Amazonian village to connect with the native ribereños (people of the river) and observe a traditional Aguaje palm harvesting demonstration. Canoe and swim in the reserve’s enchanting black waters, keeping watch for the legendary pink river dolphins, before joining a guided jungle walk to discover medicinal trees, vibrant insects, and striking poison dart frogs.

Journey aboard the custom-built Aria Amazon, a 32 passenger river cruise. Excursions take place with a maximum of 12 per group, lead by expert naturalist guides. There is plenty of time to relax, take in the panoramic views, and enjoy international and Amazonian cuisine, thoughtfully created by Aria Amazon’s renowned consulting chef, Pedro Miguel Schiaffino.

The Aria offers 3, 4 and 7 day Amazon river cruises, all year round, offering the option for either a "high water" or "low water" experience, depending in the time of the year.
