Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Baltra Island North Seymour Island

AM: Arrival at Baltra Airport

Upon arrival, reception and assistance at the airport, transfer from Baltra Airport to your cruise.


PM: North Seymour Island

It contains the largest colony of magnificent frigate birds in the Galapagos. There is also a large population of blue-footed boobies that perform an amusing courtship dance

Day 2
Isabela Island Fernandina Island

AM: Vicente Roca Point, Isabela Island

Accessible by dinghy, Vicente Roca Point is a beautiful large bay with two coves where snorkeling is a great activity as the cooler waters result in an abundance of food for marine life, and it is common to see groups of whales, dolphins and sea lions.


PM: Espinoza Point, Fernandina Island

Located within a fascinating lava scenery with Lava-Cactuses. On the surface of the lava, mangroves thrive.

Day 3
Isabela Island

AM: Tagus Cove

See the famous flightless cormorant and other sea birds. Trail up to the top of the cliff from where you can view Darwin Lake, a saline lake saltier than the sea.


PM: Urbina Bay

Here you can see coral formations, home to abundant wildlife, including land iguanas, giant tortoises, and lava lizards.

Day 4
Isabela Island

AM: Elizabeth Bay

A zodiac ride starts with a visit to the Marielas islets where there is the largest and most important penguin colony in the Galapagos Islands. The excursion continues into the cove that is surrounded by red mangroves.


PM: Moreno Point

Moreno Point is an excellent site for fans of geology and bird lovers. The ground is covered in rough lava, dried out after an eruption decades ago.

Day 5
Isabela Island

AM: Black Mountain

Sierra Negra (“Black Mountain”) Volcano was active as recently as 2005 and it is possible to see very recent lava flows and fumaroles.


PM: Arnaldo Tupiza Breeding Center

In Isabela Island here you can see infant and juvenile giant tortoises until they are ready to be released and survive in the wild.

Day 6
Santa Cruz Island Baltra Airport (Depart)

AM: Charles Darwin Research Station

Charles Darwin Research Station, the tortoise breeding station, you can encounter tortoises of different subspecies, which are prepared for reintroduction.


PM: Baltra Island Airport Departure

After this last visit, transfer to Baltra airport for your return flight to mainland Ecuador. Assistance and farewell at the airport.
