Galapagos: Grand Majestic | 5 days
Tour Overview
Transport yourself to a world where time has stood still on this 5 day Galapagos cruise on Grand Majestic.
Your journey will take you through the clear waters to Santa Cruz, Genovesa, Santiago and San Cristobal Island in search of the incredible wildlife that calls the Galapagos National Park home.
To find some wildlife you don't have to wait long. During your first walk watch out for land iguanas and maybe some flamingos. While exploring by dinghy or kayak you will observe different sharks and rays as well as sea turtles, pelicans, herons and you might see a Galapagos penguin pop up. While climbing over different lava flows on Chinese Hat islet you will come across marine iguanas, lava lizards as well as sea lion colonies. The highlight for bird lovers will be Genovesa Island and it is the best place to view the red footed boobies.
As your Galapagos cruise meanders from island to island you will be struck by the other worldly landscape. Lava tubes and flows lead your eye to impressive volcanic cones, sharp cliffs rise imposingly from the sea and white sand beaches soften the edges.
There is ample space for the 16 passengers to enjoy the stay on board the Grand Majestic and experience superior comfort and style. After returning from a snorkelling or a dinghy trip, you can soak in one of the two Jacuzzis or relax on the comfortable sun loungers. You will be well looked after by staff and knowledgeable naturalist guides, there is an onboard bar and local and international dishes are specially designed by expedition chef.
