Rio Carnival

From Rio de Janeiro to Rio de Janeiro

Tour Overview

Experience the famous Brazilian Carnival on our Rio Carnival package

Through the Samba Parade, a performance, a contest, and an amazing exhibition put on by the Brazilian samba dance schools, Rio Carnival has gained international recognition.

Carnival, a well-known Brazilian holiday, will be held between 13 - 21st of February 2026 (approximately). The samba schools compete in a large competition throughout the festival. These samba communities will parade at the "Sambodromo," where spectators can either watch from the grandstands or, with some advance planning, even dress up and take part in the parade themselves. Each of these samba communities has its own distinctive, colourful costumes. This festival has earned a reputation as one of the biggest parties on earth. There is only one winner in the 90-minute-long parade for each samba school.
