Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Ushuaia Errante Ecolodge

Today you will embark on an adventure across the beagle channel in a speedboat from Ushuaia to Puerto Navarino.

Please note that the boat transfer is strictly subject to weather conditions and we suggest you allow some flexibility in case of delays.

In Puerto Navarino, you will be greeted by a representative who will arrange your transfer to Errante Ecolodge. Upon arrival at the lodge, you will receive a warm welcome and be shown to your room. Your host will then introduce you to the lodge and provide an overview of the activities available for the coming days.

This afternoon, you will have the opportunity to either embark on a mountain bike tour, a city tour of Puerto Williams, or a visit to the Omora Ethnobotanical Park.

*Errante Ecolodge does include most activities but may have a limited number of “extra cost” activities, which will be at your own cost and paid locally.

Day 2
Exploration

Today you will have the opportunity to choose one of the following activities:

Wandering Kayak:
Set off on a journey through the waters once navigated by the Yaganes, the indigenous people of Navarino Island. Departing from the Ecolodge, you'll head to the Beagle Channel, where, after a brief introduction, you'll paddle through the same waters once used for canoe navigation. Explore scenic spots like Caleta Paula and Virginia Bay, passing uninhabited beaches and stunning landscapes filled with wildlife, from birds to curious sea lions. Along the way, visit "Conchales," archaeological sites where the Yaganes camped, leaving behind precious food and tools that have been preserved for centuries.

Hiking to La Bandera Hill:
Start the day with a hearty Errante-style breakfast, followed by a brief technical talk before heading to the water intake. From there, we’ll begin our trek to Cerro La Bandera. Along the way, you’ll pass through native forests and stunning Magellanic landscapes, reaching the top where the large Chilean flag gives the hill its name. Continuing the hike, we’ll approach the mountain range that inspired the Trekking of the Teeth of Navarino. After taking in the breathtaking views, we’ll make our way back to the Ecolodge.

Hiking Los Bronces Waterfall and Maku Lagoon:
Take a family-friendly hike just 25 minutes from the Ecolodge, following the Los Bronces River through an ancient forest to a stunning 10-meter waterfall, which provides the purest water to the lodge. After taking in the waterfall’s beauty, we’ll continue for two more hours to reach Laguna Maku, surrounded by the Dientes de Navarino mountains and lush lenga, coigüe, and ñirre forests. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a box lunch. Finally, we’ll descend along the river back to the coast and return to the Ecolodge.

Day 3

This morning say goodbye to your hosts and prepare for your departure transfer to Puerto Williams.
