Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Arrive in Ushuaia

Welcome to the southernmost city in the world, Ushuaia. The city is situated on the archipelago of Tierra del Fuego on the Beagle Channel and is the main port for Antarctic bound vessels.

Today is an arrival day and you are free to explore. The city has a number of activities and attractions including the Maritime & the Prison of Ushuaia Museum, a cruise on the Beagle Channel to Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse (the southernmost lighthouse in the world) and a monument to the Falklands Islands war in Plaza Malvinas.

Day 2
Escondido & Fagnano Lakes

Set out on a 3 day adventure this morning, heading to the centre of the Island. Explore Escondido Lake and Fagnano Lake and enjoy a 4x4 adventure. You will have a local barbeque lunch with Patagonian Malbec before spending the afternoon canoeing on the lake. Continue to Tolhuin where you will spend the next 2 nights at a small local inn.

Day 3
Estancia Rolito San Pablo Cape

Head for the north of Tierra Del Fuego and visit Estancia Rolito, a beautiful sheep farm and rural tourism hub. Enjoy a delicious morning tea and learn more about the history of the region. Take a trek to the top of San Pablo Cape and visit the lighthouse, which was built in 1945 and later destroyed by an earthquake. Visit Desdemona, a shipwrecked on the coast in 1985 and enjoy a local seafood lunch.

Day 4
Beagle Food Experience

Drive through dense native forest to Brown Bay to see the famous flag trees, before heading to Almanza Port. Here you will meet one of the most renowned fisherwomen and ship captains of the region. You will enjoy a cooking lesson and gastronomical experience. She will share some tales of her life over lunch.

Return to Ushuaia and overnight.

Day 5
Tierra del Fuego National Park

Today you will enjoy a small group tour to Tierra del Fuego National Park. Located to the west of the city, the national park is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, glaciers, waterfalls and mountains. A collection of short walks will take you to Ensenada Bay, Roca Lake and Lapataia Bay, before returning to Ushuaia by the End of the World Train. You will also reach the end of the Panamerican Highway which concludes in the national park.

Day 6
Depart Ushuaia

Today you will be transferred to the port or back to the airport in time for your onward journey

Day 7
Fly back home

Fly back home or start a new adventure to your next destination
