Spend 4 days relaxing and exploring Colombia's beautiful flora, fauna and beaches in and around Tayrona National Park.

This programme it the perfect extension to our Signature Colombia programme, for those who want to spend more time in the Caribbean sun!

Starting in Cartagena, you journey continues by traveling along the coastline to Los Naranjos. Here you will stay in a unique ecolodge that is right next to the Tayrona National Park. Look our for interesting mammals and birds including the extremely endangered cotton-topped tamarin, as you explore some of the trails that make up some of Tayrona National Park - the entire area stretches over 150 square kilometres of coastline -including rainforests, rivers and beaches. Enjoy the coconut palm lined white sandy beaches of Canaveral and Arrecifes on an ecological walk, and perhaps take a dip in the water at well known Piscinita beach.

There is free time, to relax at the pool, snorkel, or if you are feeling more energetic hike to Cabo San Juan or visit Pueblito Chayrama, where archaeological ruins lie. These are remnants of the Tayrona people, who once inhabited this area and built their ancient capital, Cuidad Perdida (Lost City) in the jungle nearby.

Day 1

Cartagena Los Naranjos

Departing from your hotel in Cartagena, you will travel along the Caribbean coastline to Los Naranjos, which overhangs the Caribbean sea and borders the Tayrona National Park. On arrival, enjoy some downtime in your unique eco lodgings or relax by the hotel pool.

Day 2

Tayrona National Park

Today you will tour some of the highlights of Tayrona National Park. Home to a wide array of mammals and birds, including the extremely endangered cotton-topped tamarin, Tayrona National Park stretches over 150 square kilometres of coastline and features rainforests, rivers and beaches.
You will visit the coconut palm lined white sandy beaches of Canaveral and Arrecifes on an ecological walk to Piscinita, a safe beach for swimming before returning to your hotel.

Day 3

Free Day

Today is a free day where you can choose to relax at your hotel and enjoy a cocktail by the pool, take a hike along the riverside of the Mendihuaca or go swimming, snorkelling or surfing on Los Naranjos beach.
Alternatively, you can take an excursion back to Tayrona National Park and hike to Cabo San Juan or visit Pueblito Chayrama, where archaeological ruins lie. These are remnants of the Tayrona people, who once inhabited this area and built their ancient capital, Cuidad Perdida (Lost City) in the jungle nearby.

Day 4

Los Naranjos Santa Marta

You will be collected from your hotel for your onward journey from Santa Marta Airport.
