Corcovado National Park Experience Costa Rica
Tour Description
Explore Corcovado National Park in Costa Rica on our 4 day tour.
Corcovado National Park is one of Costa Rica’s most biodiverse national parks...just don't confuse it with Corcovado mountain in Brazil! Located on the Osa Peninsula in southwestern Costa Rica, it is also considered one of the world's most biodiverse regions, and one of the few remaining sizable areas of lowland tropical forests in the world. Corcovado is also one of the final strongholds of the jaguar within Central America, and home to a sizable population of the endangered Baird's tapir and a small population of the rare harpy eagle.
Continuing on from our Signature Costa Rica tour, depart Manuel Antonio National park, and head to the town of Sierpe, and then by boat to your accommodation near Corcovado National Park. This area is remote, with very few roads (or none at all!), the perfect place to get off the beaten track and explore. Snorkel at Caño island, with sea turtles, stingrays, manta rays, moray eels, barracudas, tuna, snapper, parrot fish, puffers, and more. Hike the trails of the national park, spotting scarlet macaws, monkeys, coati, anteaters, agoutis, toucans, and common black hawks. And take time to relax and enjoy the sounds and sights of nature.
