Spirit of Shackleton
Take the voyage, in the Spirit of Shackleton and journey to the Falkland Islands, onto South Georgia all the way south to Antarctica. This voyage recounts the courageous adventures of Ernest Shackleton’s, the history is fascinating, whilst the landscapes are awe inspiring.
Experience life on the Falklands, with its hardy locals, and great wildlife, meet your first penguins of the trip, plus the largest black-browed albatross colony in the worlds. Onto South Georgia, a must visit destination, where millions of Antarctic fur seals breed, and King penguins mingle with lazing elephant seals. Here we can also visit historical sites of past explorers, including Shackleton’s final resting place.
Exploring the South Shetland Islands and the Antarctica continent itself, we visit Gentoo, Chinstrap, and Adélie penguin rookeries; and spot Weddell, crabeater, and leopard seals; and hopefully orca, humpback, and minke whales. Step foot on the amazing white continent and witness more out of this world scenery.
