On this 13-day ultimate Antarctica cruise, journey beyond the ordinary as we explore the Great White Continent’s glaciers, wildlife, and majestic landscapes—culminating in the rare opportunity to cross the legendary Antarctic Circle.
Embark on an extraordinary adventure to the Antarctic Circle aboard the purpose-built, ice-class expedition vessels, Ocean Victory and Ocean Albatros. These specially designed vessels allow you to get closer than ever to the untouched wilderness of Antarctica. With a fleet of Zodiac landing crafts and a team of experienced expedition guides, your journey will take you deep into the Antarctic Peninsula, one of Earth’s last unspoiled frontiers.
Starting from Ushuaia, Argentina, the southernmost city in the world, we cross the legendary Drake Passage on our way south. The innovative X-Bow design of our expedition vessels ensures exceptional stability and a smoother ride through the sometimes-turbulent waters of the Southern Ocean. This allows us to maximize your exploration time in Antarctica and offers a superior experience in one of the world’s most remote regions.
After crossing the South Shetland Islands, we head further south to the heart of the Antarctic Peninsula. The Gerlache Strait, known for its towering ice cliffs and dramatic peaks, awaits. The landscape here is an awe-inspiring blend of icebergs, glaciers, and rugged snowfields—truly a wild, untouched world. Our expert captain and expedition leader will work to ensure every opportunity to explore the White Continent is seized. While the exact locations of our stops depend on weather and ice conditions, you will have the chance to make Zodiac landings at penguin rookeries, research stations, and historic sites, as well as Zodiac cruises through scenic areas teeming with giant icebergs, seals, and whales.
One of the highlights of this expedition is the ultimate goal: the Antarctic Circle, located at 66°33′ South. Reaching this extreme latitude has been a dream for many explorers, but it’s a rare accomplishment. As we venture into the Antarctic Circle, you will witness the sun circling your vessel, never fully setting, in a mesmerizing display of light at this remote and mysterious location. Though our itinerary is flexible, we always aim to showcase the best of Antarctica, with wildlife sightings and weather conditions shaping our journey. Whether we're drawn by a penguin colony or a whale sighting, you are guaranteed an unforgettable experience amidst breathtaking landscapes.
Explore the untouched beauty of the Antarctic Circle with us, where nature’s raw power and beauty await around every corner.

Iconic experiences await on our twice-daily excursions. This archipelago represents the northernmost tip of Antarctica, standing proud against the relentless force of the Southern Ocean. The ice-capped peaks of Livingstone, Greenwich, and King George Islands offer a stunning backdrop to explore. And despite the furious elements, the islands boast a remarkable richness of wildlife, with numerous colonies of Gentoo and Chinstrap Penguins dotting the island shores, accompanied by an array of formidable seabirds like the predatory Giant Petrels. Weather permitting, we’ll explore the eerie landscape of Deception Island, an active volcanic crater with black steaming sands and rusting ruins, and immerse ourselves in the history of Yankee Harbour, once a vital anchorage for sealers.
Day 11-12
