Authentic Zambia
Tour Description
The ultimate blend of raw wilderness, thrilling wildlife encounters, and tranquil moments, designed to immerse you in the best of Zambia
This journey begins in Lusaka, Zambia, where you’ll be whisked away to the remote and pristine wilderness of Kafue National Park, Zambia’s largest and Africa’s second-largest park.
Here, you’ll spend four nights at Musekese Camp, an intimate bush camp perched by a secluded lagoon and renowned for its expert guiding and phenomenal wildlife experiences. Central Kafue offers a contrasting landscape of riverine bush, open savannahs, and granite outcrops. Over the next few days, explore the rich wildlife by vehicle, on foot, or by boat along the emerald-green Kafue River. Expect regular sightings of puku, impala, and bushbuck, alongside a dazzling array of bird species.
Next, you’ll travel by air to the Lower Zambezi National Park, a haven for wildlife nestled along the Zambezi River.
Your stay begins at Kutali Camp, an island-based camp framed by winterthorn trees, offering an authentic Lower Zambezi experience. With two nights here, you’ll engage in classic game activities including canoeing, game drives, and walking safaris. Canoe downriver at dawn, enjoy thrilling game drives, and boat along the mighty Zambezi.
Midway through your Lower Zambezi experience, you'll transfer to Chula Camp, located on the game-rich Katengahumba Island, often compared to Jurassic Park for its diversity of landscapes and wildlife. Spend your days exploring hidden lagoons and dambos, spotting predators like leopards, lions, and hyenas, along with elephants and buffalo. Evening meals under the stars provide the perfect opportunity to reflect on the day’s adventures.
