Day 1
Marrakesh

Upon arrival at Marrakesh Airport, meet your dedicated driver who will pick you up from the airport. Drive into the city center, check in to the hotel, and take some time to relax. Lunch will be at your leisure and dependent on your arrival time, but your guide can give you some local recommendations. Spend the afternoon at leisure to get settled in.

In the evening, head to the Palais Selman, where you’ll enjoy a private dinner setup with a table just for you and your party on the Selman grounds. You’ll enjoy a gourmet dinner, followed by a horse show with the hotel’s purebred Arabian horses, as a spectacular welcome to Morocco.

Day 2
Marrakesh

After breakfast at your hotel, head out for a jam-packed day of sightseeing in Marrakesh!

Visit the Koutoubia Mosque (the iconic sight of Marrakesh), the Bahia Palace (a stunning example of traditional Moroccan architecture), and the Saadian tombs (an ornate resting place). Afterwards, head to the medina for lunch, followed by afternoon visits of the medina and the souks.

Delve into the myriad pathways of the Souk (which refers to the markets). The markets of Marrakesh are located in a serpentine set of alleyways which your expert guide will lead you through. You’ll see the different sections, including clothing, leather, rugs, lamps, spices, and more.

You’ll then head to La Maison Arabe, one of Marrakech’s oldest-standing properties, for a traditional Moroccan dinner. You’ll dine by the poolside with an immersive tasting menu where you’ll get to sample a variety of classic Moroccan dishes.

Day 3
Marrakesh

After breakfast, head to the stunning Majorelle Gardens. Global fashion icon Yves Saint Laurent made his second home in Marrakech for many decades, and his vision drove every detail behind the lush Gardens, accompanied by a small but must-see Berber Museum. Next door, the Yves Saint-Laurent Museum honors the fashion icon’s love of Marrakech and builds upon the collections housed at the Majorelle Gardens. Take in the beauty of the gardens and museums before enjoying lunch at your leisure.

In the afternoon, roll up your sleeves for an immersive and fun cooking experience! Accompanied by a local “dada”, or expert cook, dig into all of the key components of a Moroccan meal, starting with how to prepare the famous Moroccan mint tea and bread.

From there, the hands-on portion of the course begins as you prepare a main course of a chicken and preserved lemon tagine, along with a tomato and cucumber salad and an eggplant salad. The class ends with a dinner at a privatized venue where you eat your very own masterpiece!

Day 4
Marrakesh The High Atlas

After breakfast, depart to the nearby town of Imlil for a hike in the Berber villages of the High Atlas Mountains.

Learn about local history, culture, and wildlife from the mountain guide, who will lead you on a three-hour route. Take a break by settling down on the terrace of a local family home to have tea with inhabitants of the region, with a translator facilitating the conversation. Enjoy lunch in a local Berber restaurant, and after completing the hike, head to your property to check-in. The rest of the evening and dinner tonight are at leisure.

Day 5
The High Atlas

Mid-morning, enjoy a cooking experience with the chefs at Kasbah Tamadot! From your own cooking stations, create a three-course meal, including soups, salads, a main dish, and dessert. You’ll get to eat your meal for lunch, and in the afternoon, enjoy some time at leisure enjoying the hotel and its many amenities. Lounge by the pool, read a book on the terrace or simply take in the majestic views of the surrounding mountains.
You can also learn how to make Moroccan mint tea with the property’s resident tea connoisseur, who sets up a tea station outside and will do a tea demonstration for anyone interested in learning the ins and outs of tea-making. Enjoy dinner at your property tonight.
