Explore Torres del Paine National Park in southern Chilean Patagonia over 4 days.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Arrive Explora Patagonia

Arrive Punta Arenas airport, pickup and transfer (5 hours approximately) to Explora Patagonia, located inside Torres del Paine National Park. Arrive and settle into the comfortable rooms, designed to take full advantage of the silence, privacy, and spaciousness of the surrounding landscape, ensuring deep rest after a long day of exploration. In order to retreat from everyday life, we must leave the everyday behind.

This afternoon, meet with a guide to discuss your activities for the following day.
Dinner and overnight.

*Explora Patagonia does include most activities but does have a limited number of “extra cost” activities, which will be at the client’s own cost and paid locally.
*Transfers can also be provided from Puerto Natales

Day 2
Exploring Patagonia

Explora Patagonia have a set of activities where you can choose from onsite, allowing you to create your own personalised experience deep in Patagonia. Below are suggested options you may like to choose from through-out your stay.

You will leave the hotel by van and head towards the Grey Lake station. You will begin the excursion by crossing the hanging bridge over the torrential Pingo River and cross a Lenga forest until we reach the shores of Lake Grey, generally quite windy, where you will be able to see the enormous icebergs that break off the Grey Glacier. After a moderate ascent, you will adminre the Grey Glacier up close. Finally you will return to the Grey station where a van will be waiting to take you back to the hotel for lunch.

In the afternoon you will leave the hotel by foot, walking along the Pehoe Lake, observing the various orchids and ñirre trees that comprise the local flora. We will ascend to a triangular rock from where we will be able to see the intense blue of Lake Pehoe and the Paine ridge. If the day is clear you will be able to enjoy a unique view from above, quite different from that of the hotel. Finally you will descend, observing the turquoise stones of the Paine River from afar.

This afternoon, meet with a guide to discuss your activities for the following day.

Day 3
Exploring Patagonia

Explora Patagonia have a set of activities where you can choose from onsite, allowing you to create your own personalised experience deep in Patagonia. Below are suggested options you may like to choose from through-out your stay.

After breakfast we will leave the stables and ride across rivers, forests and pampas before ascending toward the Black Lagoon lookout. During this 2 hours ride we will come across several lagoons, ideal for spotting bird species such as teros, and caiquenes.

In the afternoon you may choose to undertake a bike excursion Brace yourself for a thrill as you pedal through the landscapes of Cañadón Macho on this biking excursion. From the Laguna Azul area, we gear up, hop on our bikes and head off, riding mainly downhill for the first section of our trail. The area is heavily populated with guanaco, with sentinels watching out for the herd on the top of the hills. In the background, the Three Towers pierce the sky as we head towards the hotel.

You can opt to cycle all the way back to Tierra Patagonia, or jump back in the support vehicle when you’re ready to rest – the choice is yours.

Day 4
Depart Explora Patagonia

Morning departure to Punta Arenas to connect with your ongoing flight (airport).
