You will self drive to Mount Cook passing the stunning glacial Lake Tekapo and Lake Pukaki, stopping at the Church of the Good Shepherd along the way. During your time here you can enjoy one of the most incredible star gazing experiences and even get a view of Mount Cook from above by helicopter. This getaway, will be full of overwhelming natural beauty!

Day 1

Christchurch Mount Cook Aoraki

Pick up your car hire from Christchurch airport, before departing to Mount Cook. Along the way you will pass through stunning scenery, including Lake Tekapo and Lake Pukaki. This evening dinner is included and cooked by the inhouse chef. After dinner head out for a guided night sky viewing and gaze up at the stunning star filled sky.

Day 2

Mount Cook Aoraki

Today after breakfast you will get a different point of view of Mount Cook by heading on a scenic heli flight and taking in the beautiful stunning landscapes. You have the rest of the day leisure, to drive around and hike the many different tracks in the area, Mount Cook is just and endless array of beauty.

Day 3

Mount Cook Aoraki Christchurch

After breakfast you will depart your luxury lodge and drive back to Christchurch, this time stopping at The Peel Forest Park Scenic Reserve and Rakaia Gorge Walkway.
