Spend your first couple of nights in Queenstown, where you will pick up your car hire and explore the beautiful mountains and lakes, hike on the many trails and taste incredible wine at the wineries. Next, you will drive to your luxury accommodation, Fiordland Lodge, surrounded by absolute incredible beauty. During your time here, you will cruise the lesser visited and stunning Doubtful Sounds, have the option to hike the many trails or get a sky view of the Fiordland area with a helicopter ride, you may even opt for fishing which is also very popular in this region.

Day 1
Queenstown

On arrival to Queenstown you will pick up your car hire and drive to your lodge, at Gibbson Valley. This winery and lodge is surrounded by stunning scenery and is home to some of the best wine found in Otago.

Day 2
Queenstown

Today enjoy Queenstowns beautiful scenery by driving around Lake Wakatipu, stopping off at many of the hiking trails or head all the way to Glenorchy, a small town just a 40 minute drive from Queenstown, the choice is yours.

Day 3
Queenstown Fiordland

Leave Queenstown and drive to Fiordland region. This drive will take you through some of the most breathtaking scenery. On arrival at your luxury lodge, enjoy the rest of day at leisure, taking in the beautiful views and enjoying the amenities of your luxury lodge.

Day 4
Fiordland

Today you will embark on a wilderness cruise and explore the incredibly beautiful Doubtful Sound. You will board a spacious catamaran for a three-hour cruise through this pristine fiord. During the cruise our knowledgeable and friendly nature guides will share with you their passion for the region. They will point out landmarks and provide you with information about the varied wildlife you may encounter like dolphins, fur seals and the rare Fiordland crested penguin.

Day 5
Fiordland

There are many optional activities to choose from today, which includes a guided hike on Routeburn track, or experience true wilderness fly fishing amongst stunning scenery on remote rivers in Fiordland. If you didn't see enough crested penguins, you may want to head on a guided crested penguin encounter.

Day 6
Fiordland Queenstown

Today you will drive back to Queenstown where you will depart at anytime or extend your stay for an extra day or more.
