Crossing the Circle
Tour Description
Enjoy the wonders of Antarctica on this in depth voyage. We sail the infamous Drake Passage, explore the South Shetland Islands and the Antarctica Peninsula...and we also head further south in an attempt to cross the Antarctic Circle at 66°33’S
Along the way, we will cruise through stunning narrow channels, maneuver through ice-filled bays, and hop into zodiacs to get closer to wildlife. Visit penguin colonies and watch quietly as they go about their daily lives, look out for whales, seals and an array of bird life. Take walks in Antarctica, participate in "Citizen Science" - where you help us with real-world scientific research, or be assisted in your photography with an onboard coach. There will also be opportunities for camping or kayaking for those that would like some extra adventure!
The Seaventure will take you to Antarctica in comfort, all outside-facing staterooms (some with balconies), a heated salt-water swimming pool and only 149 passengers onboard.
