Since her introduction to the fleet in 2004, the 128-passenger Ocean Adventurer has been a favourite with passengers and staff alike thanks to its welcoming atmosphere, spacious outdoor decks, abundance of warm indoor gathering spaces, and, of course, outdoor jacuzzi. A remarkable group of maritime architects, engineers, interior designers, and polar expedition professionals invested millions of dollars and years of work into updating Ocean Adventurer a few years ago. Having won the Travel Weekly Magellan Award for Overall Small Cruise Ship, Quark Expeditions is ecstatic with the accolade bestowed upon their much-beloved polar vessel following its recent refurbishment (500 passengers or under).
