On arrival, you will be met and transferred to Habitas where you will enjoy your first night in Namibia.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Hosea Kutako International where you will be met by your Pilot for your safari to Namib Desert.

Namibia is awe-inspiringly impressive from all angles, but viewing the landscapes from a small plane, high in the sky, is magical. As you near the reserve, you’ll fly over the iconic, blood-red dunes stretching for as far as the eye can see.

After landing at Solitaire, you will have a private transfer to your lodge.

This afternoon, enjoy an excursion within Gondwana Namib Park.

The morning demands an early start. Entering the Namib Naukluft National Park shortly after sunrise, the first rays of sunlight paint the mountains of sand into a variety of apricot, red and orange, contrasted against a crisp blue skyline, enrapturing our senses, and providing an opportunity to capture this impressive landscape on film.

You will be captivated by the surreal Deadvlei surrounded by some of the highest dunes on earth and Sossusvlei, where the dry Tsauchab River ends abruptly amongst dunes. Take the opportunity to walk up one of these majestic dunes to admire the desert landscape beneath.

After breakfast, continue your journey approaching the little settlement of Solitaire on the edge of the Namib Naukluft National Park, feeling like you have arrived in the middle of nowhere. Here it is worthwhile to enjoy a cup of coffee with the delightful apple pie written about in so many travel books.

Enjoy a scenic flight over the desert to Swakopmund where you stop for lunch before a scenic flight over Skeleton Coast to Mowe Bay where you connect to your transfer to Shipwreck Lodge.

Located in the famous Skeleton Coast concession between the Hoarusib and Hoanib rivers in the Skeleton Coast National Park, Shipwreck Lodge is only 45 km from Möwe Bay. The shipwreck-shaped cabins are nestled between the dunes with a view of the Atlantic Ocean where the cold Benguela current provides guests with a refreshing breeze.

You can look forward to appreciating the harshness of the desert and the beauty of these solitary landscapes filled with geological history. Learn about the fauna and flora adapted to survive in these harsh conditions – all from the comfort of the restaurant deck.

This day promises both relaxation and adventure.

Departing to the Yacht harbour in Walvis Bay where you board catamaran for a half day marine cruise on the calm waters of the Walvis Bay peninsula, you enjoy the interaction with Cape fur seals, dolphins, leatherback turtles and maybe even whales and Orka's, while sipping cold sparkling wine and savoring the taste of fresh oysters and snacks. The afternoon is then at leisure.

Swakopmund offers a wide variety of activities including scenic flights, quad biking, dune boarding, desert explorations and much more.

Today you depart the skeleton coastline and drive Mowe Bay to connect with your flight to a remote area of Erongo, where your next lodge is located.
