Born and raised in the southern part of the Philippines, home of Indo-pacific bottlenose dolphins. My adventurous side sparked when I was 8 years old, inspired by a family member who is also a travel enthusiast. I had the chance to explore several well-known destinations like the white sandy beaches of Boracay, visit the iconic Chocolate Hills of Bohol and had the opportunity to get up close with the tarsiers, the world’s second smallest primates.
Driven by my willingness to explore new places, I ventured to the heart of the Philippines—Manila at the age of 18, where I spent half of my life. My favorite escapes have been trips to Baguio and Tagaytay, especially during the summer months. Both are renowned for their scenic beauty and cooler climate, offering a refreshing break from the tropical heat.
Working with Viva Expeditions has truly been a life-changing opportunity. I’m passionate about my role, which allows me to combine my love for travel and exploration. My job feels like a journey of its own, as I load and organize tours for destinations all around the globe. It’s a rewarding feeling, knowing that I’m helping others experience the places I’ve dreamed about. There are moments when I feel like I’m right there with the travelers, imagining myself watching penguins as they waddle close by.
The wild landscapes of Africa have always stirred my curiosity. The excitement of safari game drives and the luxury of traveling on Rovos Rail are experiences I long to share with others. Yet, my travel dreams go beyond that. As someone who’s always lived in a tropical climate, I’ve always dreamed of stepping onto an ice sheet in Antarctica or the Arctic, surrounded by snow, and witnessing the incredible wildlife, including penguins, seals or polar bears.
Another bucket list dream is to explore the rich, vast landscapes of Africa from a hot air balloon, floating above the wildlife in the early morning light.
