Enjoy Arequipa, a UNESCO cultural heritage site and explore Colca Canyon, arguably the worlds’ deepest canyon and home to numerous Andean Condors.
Over 2 days, explore Arequipa, the second largest city in Peru, known as the white city, due to its beautiful baroque buildings constructed from sillar, a white volcanic stone. Stroll the Plaza de Armas, the beautiful main square, with El Misti Volcano towering over 5,800 meters in the background, explore Santa Catalina Monastery, and visit the Andean Sanctuaries Museum, home to the famous Juanita mummy.
Then it is time to head to the stunning Colca Canyon for a night. Colca is the world's second deepest canyon, approximately 3,400m at its deepest point. This is a great place to witness Condors in the wild!
