Being born in England I have been lucky enough to have travelled all over Europe, however, I first left Europe when I was 18 years old and travelled all the way to Honduras, Central America where I fell in love with the idea of travel, the culture and wildlife. I spent the majority of my time volunteering with iguanas (I’m obsessed with reptiles), learning to scuba dive and exploring all the Mayan ruins.

On return I decided to make my dream come true and travel to Africa where I embarked on a three month adventure where I totally fell in love with the continent. Since then, I have been lucky enough to have returned many times and travelled all over Africa having had all kinds of different experiences from camping to 5 star luxury lodges. I have also travelled in and around in all kinds of ways from overland trucks, self drive, helicopters to private jets. Some of my favourite places in Africa include Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Madagascar (obviously I love all the others too)!

Wildlife is my true passion and I will never get bored seeing all the animals roaming around in the wild from the safari truck. I still love and get excited about seeing giraffes and elephants in the wild…you can never see too many right?

My favourite time of day in Africa is sunset, when you can reflect on your day with a glass of Amarula whilst taking in all the colours of the stunning African sunsets and listening to the sounds of the African bush.

Although I have many, one of my most special memories was summiting Mount Kilimanjaro and standing on the roof of Africa at sunrise.

There is something extremely magical about Africa that everyone must experience for themselves. The sounds, smells and the wildness stays with you and keep you going back for more. I am also yet to see a pangolin….it’s my mission to see one in the wild.

In between all my Africa trips, I have also been busy exploring other parts of the world such as South America, Asia, Middle East, Australia and the South Pacific. I have now found myself living in New Zealand with my Kiwi partner. I have fallen in love with the country and am busy exploring every corner of it whilst taking every opportunity to head back to Africa when I can.
