Tour Description

Get a taste of the stunning Andean Lake District and historic Santiago on this four-day tour encompassing Chile's wine country and into Argentina. Starting in Santiago, take a tour of the city's most impressive landmarks and then tour the beautiful Maipo Valley, Chile's most reputable wine region. Of course, a wine tasting of some of the local Cabernet Sauvignon is a must.

The next day, fly to Puerto Montt and then transfer to Puerto Varas - twin towns that are nestled at the southern tip of the magnificent Lake District. Continuing from here to Bariloche in Argentina via coach and lake crossing you will be able to take in the breathtaking scenery of sparkling lakes, distant mountain peaks and the striking figures of the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes. You will cross the Andes into Argentina and arrive in picturesque Bariloche, a Patagonian adventurer's paradise nestled between the lake and thousand-year-old forests. The itinerary can also be done in reverse.
