Day 1
Buenos Aires

On arrival into Buenos Aires you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Buenos Aires, Argentina’s elegant, historic and cosmopolitan capital, is known as the “Paris of the South” due to its European atmosphere with glamorous avenues lined with fashionable shops and Parisian-style restaurants and cafes.

Day 2
Buenos Aires

Today you have the option of exploring Buenos Aires by regular bus or for the more adventurous, by bicycle (please advise your preference at the time of booking). You will visit many of the highlights that Buenos Aires has to offer including San Telmo, Plaza de Mayo, La Boca, the old docks etc.
Afternoon is at leisure before your evening Dinner & Tango show.

Day 4
Buenos Aires Salta

Today we transfer you to the airport for your flight from Buenos Aires to Salta (flight included)
Upon arrival in to Salta you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Known as ''Salta la Linda'' (Salta the Pretty), Salta is a provincial capital in the mountainous north western part of Argentina. Founded in 1582, it is known for its Spanish colonial architecture and cobblestone streets as well as its Andean heritage.

Day 5
Los Cobres, Salt Flats & Purmamarca

This morning we leave Salta, heading out towards the Tastil Ruins and up high into the Andes following the tracks of the world famous “Train to the Clouds” to arrive at San Antonio de los Cobres. Having reached the province of Jujuy, we arrive at Salinas Grandes (The Great Salt Flat), where your mind will boggle at the sheer immensity of the area. From here we head down Lipán Cliff to reach the quintessential village of Purmamarca.
Purmamarca is located in the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Quebrada de Purmamarca, a narrow mountain valley bordered by the Altiplano to the west and north and by Andean hills to the east. The picturesque village, with its ochre adobe houses, carob-like algarrobo trees and 17th century church, sits under Cerro de los Siete Colores (Hill of the Seven Colours), a strikingly coloured jagged formation

Day 6
Humahuaca

We drive north along the “Quebrada de Humahuaca” a narrow canyon with majestic scenery of extraordinary rock formations and ancient indigenous villages. The Quebrada de Humahuaca was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its traditions, music, art and religious beliefs that have existed in the canyon for over 10,000 years and still
thrive today throughout the region’s villages.
Humahuaca, a quaint and quiet town with cobblestone streets, and a huge staircase leading up to a monument. We will stop here for lunch (not included). On the way back to Salta you will stop in Tilcara where you visit the Pucará (ancient ruins) and the Archaeological Museum. There is also the opportunity to stop in Jujuy, before returning to Salta.

Day 7
Salta Iguazu

Transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Iguazu (Flight Included)
Upon arrival you will be met & transferred to your hotel
The spectacular Iguazu Falls that straddle the Argentine-Brazil border, are made up of 275 individual waterfalls lining a 2.7km wide horseshoe-shaped gorge.
Iguazu Tourist Tax payable locally. Approx. ARS50 (USD3.40) per person. Subject to change

Day 8
Iguazu Falls


Iguazu
In the early morning we will visit the Iguazu Falls on the Argentinian side. We will ride the Rainforest Ecological train and then explore panoramic views from above and below the waterfalls. We will visit the Devils Falls, which is said to be one of the most spectacular falls and you have the option of taking a boat ride under the Falls (additional costs apply. Payable locally). National Park fees included.

Day 9
Iguazu Falls Depart

TToday we see the falls from the Brazilian side of the border. After arriving at the visitor center, we board buses for a tour of the park. Equipped with panoramic windows, the buses are designed to maximize your views of the falls, while the walkways and steps allow you to get up close to the spray.
*Optional - Add on a visit to the Bird Park, or why not book an amazing helicopter flight over the falls. Additional costs apply. Please ask for more details.
At the end of the tour you will be taken to the airport for your onward flight (Flight to depart after 3.30pm. Flight Not included)
*Extend your stay in Salta or head to Rio for some relaxing time on the beach. Please ask for more details
