Tour Description
Join us on this in depth expedition cruise exploring Antarctica, Patagonia and the Chilean Fjords. Witness the beauty of the Chilean coast and magical Antarctica over 22 days, and in one exciting voyage.
Start your journey in the vibrant port city of Valparaiso in Chile, sail south towards Cape Horn in Chilean Patagonia. En route, soak up the remote natural landscapes of the Chilean fjords as we explore Chiles Pacific Coast. We call in at Castro, known for its colourful houses built on stilts over the water, Puerto Eden, home to the last members of the Kaweskar people, and into Puerto Natales, gateway to the iconic and dramatic Torres del Paine National Park. Further south we hope to land at Cape Horn, the southern most tip of South America before we cross the Drake Passage to reach the pristine wilderness that is the Antarctic Peninsula.
Spend seven days in Antarctica. There will be the chance to do ice cruising onboard zodiacs, getting up close to icebergs and glaciers, and landings, encountering incredible wildlife such as penguin, whale and seal species, as well as optional activities like kayaking or maybe even camping. This is a truly magical and pristine time to visit Antarctica!
