Hike the Dientes Circuit
The Dientes Circuit walk on Navarino Island was voted 'Best in Transformative Travel' at the 2017 Pure Awards. It is a 6-day trek that takes you right off the beaten track. On this trek, you walk through the Dientes de Navarino massif, alongside forests, bogs, and lakes, and at the summit the view stretches to the Beagle Channel, Ushuaia, and Cape Horn. This is a completely original tour that Lonely Planet has named the ¨best trek in South America¨ (Carolyn McCarthy, Trekking in the Patagonian Andes - 32 Great Treks).
Some of the highlights including trekking the southernmost circuit in the world, experiencing the remoteness of Navarino Island and enjoying incredible panoramic views across Puerto Williams, Canal Beagle, Ushuaia and the jagged rocks of the Dientes. This really is an at the end of the world hike. The next large land mass after Navarino Island is Antarctica and it is also the last place in the world where you can find the Yaghan culture.
The accommodation is a mix of camping on days 2, 3 and 4 and lodge stays at Lakutaia Lodge. The minimum group size is 2 people and the maximum is 8 people.
We would like to recommend that this trip is suitable for skilled trekkers with an excellent physical condition.
