On arrival to Queenstown Airport you will pick up your rental car and depart for your scenic drive to Te Anau and your luxury lodge in Fiordland. This drive will take you along Lake Wakatipu and the Devil's Staircase, this is a popular spot for some photos. Continue through farm country, rolling hills and tussock conservation land before you arrive at the shores of Lake Te Anau.

At dinner time you will be served the finest produce from the region.

After a delicious breakfast you will embark on a guided half day fly fishing trip around the confines of Fiordland National Park. With your expert guide you will fish among the towering peaks, where the clearest rivers are inhabited by large wild brown and rainbow trout.

This afternoon you may opt for a hike along the many trails within the confines of your lodge or opt for a afternoon helicopter trip to the magnificent Milford Sounds.

Enjoy some pre-dinner canapes in the Great Room before your dinner is served.

Later on you may wish to soak in the hot tub and experience the brilliant night sky.

Enjoy your breakfast and the stunning views from the lodge. Then it will be time to discover the beauty of The Waiau River with jet boat fishing. Our friendly local guide will welcome you on board the jet boat, as you drift down the river having a go at trout fishing along the way. There are high numbers of rainbow and brown trout here, and with our stunning clear waters and patient guides providing tuition, you are bound to hook up in no time!

After another wonderful day you will be ready for some pre-dinner drinks and canapes and might share some fishing stories with other guests. Today you have explored Fiordland by jetboat and with your feet, now it is time to explore with your taste buds.
