Indulge in the luxury and comfort of Wharekauhau's country estate, set high above the thunderous blue surf of Palliser Bay.  Relax in front of the fireplace, or perhaps croquet on the lawn, game of tennis, take a walk or bike on one of the many trails over the estate, the choice is yours. The gentle sound of the ocean is perfect ambiance whilst enjoying the spectacular sunset. You will embark on a wine and gin tasting in the Martinborough region. The gin you will taste on this tour was crafted from spring water drawn from the Estate you will be staying on during your time in the Wairarapa.

Day 1
Wellington Wairarapa

Pick up your car hire from Wellington, New Zealand's windy but beautiful capital. Drive through the countryside and arrive at your luxury countryside estate.

Day 2
Wairarapa

Today you will enjoy a wine tour in the Martinborough region. International wine experts rate Martinborough as one of the finest wine growing regions in New Zealand and its Pinot Noir equal to anything that Burgundy has on offer. This tour is a great introduction to the region. You will also have the opportunity to do a tasting of the locally made light house gin which is a harmonious blend of pure mountain spring water, sourced here at Wharekauhau Estate, with hand-zested naval oranges, Yen Ben lemons and hints of native botanicals - including leaves of the peppery native botanicals - to create a premium gin of exceptional flavour. Lunch is included with this full day tour.

Day 3
Wairarapa Wellington

Today after checkout you may not want to depart luxury estate just yet. So, stay a little longer with an optional Spa day pamper and lunch to help wind down from your getaway. The only stress is the choice between a 60 minute relaxing massage, or a 60 minute facial at the Hauora Spa. This will then be followed with the Trust the Chef dining experience.
