On your first full day you will head to Wairakei International Golf Course and Sanctuary, just a short way from Huka lodge to embark on a full day of golfing on the course which lies on 450 acres of lush rolling countryside and was developed to meet the rigorous design standards required for world-class championship competition. There is plenty of time to wander to the Huka Falls, enjoy the river and surrounds.

Day 1

Taupo

On arrival to Taupo airport you will be picked up by your chauffeur driver and taken to Huka lodge, where you have the evening at leisure to explore the wonderful grounds of this luxury property. We recommend you head to Huka falls just a short walk from the main property!

With world class dining and 21 different private dining locations, let us know and we can booking you a fantastic spot among the nature or somewhere inside, like the stunning library, a cosy book-lined room, with a table in front of the fire offers a high level of seclusion.

Day 2

Taupo

Today you take on 18 testing holes as you spend the day golfing. Just a 5 minute drive away, you will be taken by car to a course that lies on 450 acres of lush rolling countryside and was developed to meet the rigorous design standards required for world-class championship competition. The golf course also features a flora and fauna sanctuary, with a 5.5km boundary fence erected to exclude all pests and predators. The sanctuary is a complement to the golf course and was born out of a natural ecological canvas and the passion of the owner, Gary Lane.Throughout your day take the time to listen to the cacophony of bird life, meandering streams and waterfalls.

The Golf Course:
Par 72, 18 hole championship golf course, 3 Tees
Signature hole:
The short Par 4 8th (Farmer's Folly) and the long Par 5 14th (The Rogue)

Head back to the lodge to relax at your leisure, relax at the swimming pool or spa pools, or take a stroll along the river, and choose another special spot for dinner tonight.

Day 3

Depart Taupo

Today after breakfast you depart your luxury lodge and will be taken back to the airport by chauffeur driver. You may opt to extend your stay and have a go at another day of golfing, this time at Kinloch Signature Golf Course, just 20 minutes away from Huka lodge.
