Why Viva?

There are many agencies out there offering travel to South America and it can be hard to decide who to choose to help plan your trip of a lifetime.  Often those that appear at the top of page 1 in Google are not necessarily the best, they just have the best marketing budgets  Often the boutique style companies who pay special attention to the quality of your experience and provide personalised service are overshadowed by the big corporates that advertise of a grand scale.

Given this I thought I would write today about WHY we are different and WHY we should be your choice for travel in Latin America.

WHY CHOOSE VIVA?

•    Our teams’ firsthand knowledge and experience in South America is unbeatable and we have been to all of the destinations we offer.
All of our South America Travel Specialists have spent between two and seven years living and travelling through out South America.  Take myself for example - I have walked the Inca Trail 3 times and well as having hiked the Laras valley & Salkantay Treks in the same area, I have been to Iguazu Falls 7 times, Torres Del Paine National Park at least 12 times, I have been on 2 cruises of the Galapagos Islands . . . I could go on all day.  In total have spent 7 years in Latin America working as a tour guide and travelling independently.  I have driven over half a million kilometres and as such have extensive knowledge of routes and destinations as well as the people and their cultures.

•    We can take you off the beaten track, to see the real South America and experience a different world, filled with wonderful people, fascinating cultures & breathtaking landscapes. We don't just promote mainstream itineraries but work very hard to take you to the more inaccessible regions of Latin America. We aim to give you the unique opportunity to truly see how different cultures live and exist in a world far different from our own. To take you to visit the main tourist sites but also the more remote, off-the-beaten track areas that are less visited yet equally impressive. On trips where we use our own vehicles we have less time constraints and more freedom to explore at leisure.

•    Our handpicked team of guides, tour managers, drivers, local operators & suppliers share our passion & we know them all personally.
Every year we travel to South America to visit our local agencies, do hotel inspections and check out new destinations and tours. Things change all of the time and so it is very important that we stay on top these things to ensure we are providing up-to-date information to our clients. We also have crew that are based permanently in South America who are constantly providing information and feedback to our team back in the office. We have formed many great and long lasting friendships with people from all walks of life.  It is these friendships that enable us to be the best we can be. They share with us their knowledge and experience and offer their ideas and support, they have welcomed us into their homes and their families, and through them we have learnt about the true spirit of South America.

•    We provide excellent value for money, as well as a safe, fun and adventurous atmosphere in which to discover Latin America.
We offer you great rates and personalized service. In fact we save you valuable time and money.  We believe it is the little things that make a big difference and as such strive to go that extra mile for each and every one of our wonderful passengers.

So contact us & join us in South America and let your journey of a lifetime begin!
