Updates to schedules during the Andean wet season.

Machu Picchu Travel

To avoid delays due to weather conditions during rainy season in the Andes, PERU RAIL has made changes in the schedules of its trains running between Cusco and Machu Picchu.  People will now travel by bus from the Wanchaq station (downtown Cusco) to the Pachar station (Urubamba Sacred Valley), where they will board the train to Machu Picchu. The return will also be by train until Pachar and from there by bus to downtown Cusco.
