We are excited to announce changes to two of our most popular expeditions.

For the coming Patagonia travel season (October 2015 - April 2016) we are excited to announce changes to two of our most popular expeditions.

Wild Patagonia - was 26 days, NOW 27 DAYS
Route 40 & the Carretera Austral - was 6 days, NOW 7 days

To both of these tours we have added one day in Argentinean Patagonia so we can make a special visit the Cuevas de las Manos (Caves of the Hands) which one of the most important archaeological sites in South America.  The caves feature paintings that are the most ancient artistic expressions of the native people of the subcontinent. The paintings were done by the firsts settlers of these lands, ancestors of the Tehuelche people (or Patagones), and date back to different periods from 9300 to 3300 years ago.  The site was declared World Heritage by the UNESCO in 1999.

Not only are we able to visit this important site it also breaks up the longest driving day that we had on the tour.  We constantly endeavor provide the absolute best service to our wonderful guests and to maximize their comfort and enjoyment of Patagonia so this change is a warm welcome.
