Chile was voted the best country to visit in 2018 by Lonely Planet. Latin America and Antarctica specialists, Viva Expeditions and Chimu Adventures decided it was time for a bit of an adventure. Four Travel Agents departed on the 2nd – 10th June 2018.
Chile is perfect for people who love nature, extraordinary landscapes, great wines and beautiful night skies. With a wide variety of climates and landscapes, Viva Expeditions and Chimu Adventures struggled to narrow this tour down to three destinations; the city of Santiago, the coastal city of Valparaiso and the Atacama Desert staying in absolute luxury at the Alto Atacama Lodge.

The biggest surprise was the colourful and Bohemian city of Valparaiso. The cities maze of small lanes covered in street art turns narrow streets into open art galleries. The wine and food from the vineyards went down very smoothly.
